Lindsay and Jonathan were married on a crisp fall day in early November at Claxton Farm. They envisioned a simple and elegant outdoor wedding with natural and handcrafted details. Jonathan created the table numbers and place card holders; while Lindsay created the programs, photo shutters, and escort cards. We incorporated natural details, including apples, into the decor for a simple, understated fall theme.

Lindsay’s father’s best friend officiated the ceremony and it was a lovely, personal service. After the ceremony, the sun set over the autumn-colored mountains as guests enjoyed cocktails and appetizers at the barn. It was an idyllic evening for a fireside dinner and the bride and groom’s apple-adorned chairs were a lovely nod to the season. For dessert, guests were served an assortment of Lindsay and Jonathan’s favorite cakes and pies.

One of our favorite moments of the evening was when the bride teamed up with the bridal party to serenade the groom with her rendition of The Way I Am by Ingrid Michaelson. They had a lot of fun with the props and it was a sweet way for Lindsay to say ‘I love you’ to Jonathan.

Thanks to Jeremy Russell Photography for sharing the photos from their fall Claxton Farm wedding!
