Asheville Event Co. had the pleasure of planning and producing the 8th Annual Carolina Connect Conference with AdvantageWest and Mountain BizWorks at the Renaissance Asheville Hotel this past spring. Carolina Connect is Western North Carolina’s signature event for entrepreneurs and investors, started by AdvantageWest in 2002 as part of its entrepreneurial development program. This event continues to be the hallmark networking event for connecting entrepreneurs with their peers and potential investors on trending topics relevant to today’s global economy.
Nearly 300 business owners from across the region attended Carolina Connect for the immense amount of networking and incredible speakers. We were really impressed by the connectivity of the attendees and the true interest in each company represented - the energy was contagious! The speakers were incredible and ranged from Chris Yura, founder of environmentally conscious clothing company, SustainU to Windsor Hanger with Her Campus Media to our keynote speaker, Peter Shankman - an expert in all things social media.
As a business owner, the connections and seminars were invaluable to our business. We are looking forward to next year's Carolina Connect Conference!
