Claxton Farm Wedding: Kenzie & Chris

The morning of the wedding I got a call from Kenzie. "It's snowing!!!"...but by 3pm the snow has disappeared and the gorgeous fall colors became the backdrop for this glorious day.

Kenzie and Chris live in the UK  but they chose the mountains of North Carolina to celebrate their union since they met at Camp in Brevard. Friends and family came from all over to celebrate their wedding day.  It was truly a full day that included the ceremony, cocktails and games on the lawn, an hour of toasting (more like roasting) that had everyone in stitches and was followed by tons of dancing.

I loved every minute of working with this couple and their families. Kenzie envisioned a rustic chic wedding and wanted to include locally grown flowers. Stacey from the Bloom Room  created stunning arrangements that incorporated antiqued shades of fall colors mixed with whites and gray greens and a slight touch of purple.

The incredibly talented team of Woodward + Rick captured the day. For more photos of this beautiful wedding click on this link.
