Andrea & Ty got married on a Thursday...May 27th, 2010.
They are two of my favorite clients. Self proclaimed "foodies" it was important to them to include great food & great wine. The reception tables were all named after select cheeses which the guests could enjoy during the cocktail hour.
It was a beautiful day and we got to work with the fabulous Parker J Pfister who photographed this wonderful couple and helped capture the wedding of their dreams.
The ceremony was held at the Blue Ridge Court at the North Carolina Arboretum
Andrea wanted a romantic and intimate garden wedding. The Arboretum was the perfect backdrop for their day.
With purple as the accent color, hydrangeas, roses and lavender were incorporated to bring her vision to life

The Baker Center was transformed into a romantic candlelit space with lots of mercury candles and flowers.
Andrea & Ty added personal touches like the Cigar and Bourbon Bar during the cocktail hour and the Candy Bar for the reception. All of the Candy was purple! Andrea created adorable candy bags for the guests to fill up as well as lavender filled bags for the farewell toss. The programs, table cards and signs were printed by The Green Kangaroo.
Gotta love Andrea's shoes!
