Real Weddings: Brianne & Ryan's Christmas Wedding 12.27.09

Ryan & Bri altar

Brianne & Ryan decided to get married on December 27, 2009 and created a destination wedding weekend for their guests.  From the Brew's cruise on Saturday, an incredible rehearsal dinner at Cucina 24, a gorgeous wedding celebration and incredibly fun reception to Skiing at Wolf Laurel and a candlelight tour of the Biltmore House the guests had plenty to do over the holiday weekend.

Grace Church was the perfect place for the ceremony. The little stone church in North Asheville with it's red door was decorated for the holidays and made for a dramatic and beautiful ceremony.

In lieu of bridesmaids bouquets Brianne chose white muffs for her ladies!

Brianne was was very DIY bride and had collected mini Christmas trees throughout the year to use as centerpieces. We enlisted Stacey Brown of The Bloom Room for the bridal party flowers and to bring Brianne's vision to life. Stacey and her team did a wonderful job adding the perfect elements to create this Christmas wedding. Trying to avoid green and red we stuck to a silver and red theme. Using silver tablecloths with red napkins, red roses and lots of silver and candlelight!

ornament place cardBrianne spent well over a year coming up with creative ideas for her reception. The Favor/Place Card was an ornament that hung in the Grand Bohemian Salon on a Christmas Tree. Guests found their ornament on the tree which directed them to their table for the evening. Throughout the evening guests could have their pictures taken in the photo booth provided by Shutter Booth and insert their photo into their ornament favor for a keepsake!

Brianne, Ryan and their guests had such a great time. The Grand Bohemian staff did a stellar job as usual and offered exceptional service as well as delicious food. Vinny from Split Second Sound was incredible and had EVERYONE on the dance floor until the very last minute...The Shutter Booth in the Salon added a fun element to the reception. Jen Lepkowski did an amazing job capturing the day.

Many thanks to all the vendors for helping to make this wedding such a huge success!
