Emily and Matt’s Wedding at the Farm at OEI
Emily and Matt were married last July at The Farm at Old Edwards Inn. Emily is the Chief Empowerment Officer of My Kind of Life, an inspiration blog sharing “weekly inspiration and kind posts.” If you take a look a her blog, you can imagine how wonderful it was to work with both her and Matt!
While we wish we had the power to control the weather and cast sunshine on all our brides, Emily looked stunning walking down the aisle in the rain. As her brother played a guitar rendition of Mumford and Sons, the wedding party and guests lit candles under the ceremony tent. Simply beautiful.
Their wedding theme was Downtown Abbey and it included beautiful details, like Emily’s headpiece and purple gingham shirts for all the men. Emily and Matt wanted their wedding to reflect their lifestyle, creating an experience for their guests – all the food was vegan and gluten free…even their life size dog groom’s cake! The delicious truffle mac & cheese martini bar was not a station to miss!
The reception was beautiful, lit with candles and cafe string lighting. With purple, cream and pink floral on all the tables made up of purple artichokes and almond branches and a bright marquee sign illuminating the word “LOVE”, joy was certainly in the air. Sol Fusion kept the party going all night!
