I really don’t know where to start with Maria (Mia) and Jack because I loved working with them so much.  I have never met a sweeter, more in love couple that deserves a lifetime of happiness.   Mia and I connected from the first phone call – her true vision for the design of the space – with a poppy, mint and gray anthropologie inspired color scheme; to her love of design and printed material – the look of the event and the guest experience was of utmost important to her.  And then I met her family and fell even more in love!    Unfortunately, due to work commitments, Mia couldn’t travel to every site visit, rental meeting and vendor meeting so more often than not I was meeting with her family to review details and they are so much fun!

As I look through this post, I’m obsessed with every detail! First the dress!  Just look at the dress!

Second the location.  Mountaintop Golf and Lake Club in Highlands is a private club with stunning views and prestigious event lawns.  A beautiful location to host your wedding day.  Thank you to Classic Event Rental for the tent, farm tables, chairs, lighting and lounge furniture.

The printed material is just amazing!  From the Save the Dates to the kraft envelope programs that held all white sunglasses to the sweet jam jar labels!  Please check out Maria’s business, Mia Maria Design if you need any invitations, menu cards, programs etc.  – she’s an amazing designer.

Blossom’s at Biltmore Park did an incredible job handpicking the custom table runners and floral centerpieces.  Each table was completely different – utilizing different patterned runners, vessels and containers to create a unique yet cohesive design.

Lastly, Mia’s dad brought a snow machine as a surprise for the couple and it snowed in June.  It was so beautiful!

I feel absolutely blessed that I can call this couple and their families true friends.  This is a snippet of the thank you letter that I received after the wedding:

“Everything was absolutely PERFECT, due to your relentless attention to detail. It’s obvious that you put your heart and soul into the Best Day Ever, not to mention a lot of blood, sweat and tears.

Jack and I owe you the world for making the most special day of our lives a complete dream come true. I so enjoyed working with you on every detail of the entire weekend, but moreover enjoyed becoming friends with you. You truly became a member of the family over the past year and we honestly could not have had the wedding weekend we did without your passion, hard work, kindness, and understanding when we came to you with an off the wall crazy idea (like making it snow in NC in June, for example). I feel blessed to have found a forever friend in you and just want to say thank you for…EVERYTHING!!!

You are now an honorary part of our families”

Congratulations Mia and Jack – wishing you lots of love and happiness on your journey!
