Nicole & Jay were married on a lovely Fall day. It was a bit chilly for early October but that didn’t keep the happy couple from taking advantage of the gorgeous Biltmore Estate and it’s many photo opportunities. Nicole looked absolutely radiant. The ceremony took place in the Walled Garden. Guests enjoyed a variety of food stations and cocktails at the reception in Deerpark. The dance floor was packed with non-stop entertainment by The Dickens. Many thanks to Audrey Goforth for these gorgeous photos.

Theresa and David Lovejoy – don’t you just love their last name? It fits them perfectly… Theresa & David chose downtown Asheville for their destination wedding.  The Ceremony took place at the Basilica of St. Lawrence and the reception followed at The Venue. Amy Campell of Angela Anderson Photography did an amazing job capturing this beautiful couple as well as a glimpse of our eclectic city.    I had a difficult time choosing which photos to post – there were so many!  The guests were treated to great food and cocktails on the second level at The Venue. The dance floor was filled thanks to Joey of Split Second Sound. Theresa surprised David with a “Woody Wagon” cake from Tiffany’s Baking Co. Stacey and her team at The Bloom Room blew the bride away with the stunning bouquets and centerpieces at the reception. Just gorgeous!

Stephanie & Dave fit each other perfectly. They blend two kind, fun and very adventurous personalities with a great sense of humor and sheer adoration for each other. When I first met with them it was clear that they just wanted to have a good party. Stephanie enlisted Blossom’s at Biltmore Park to execute her pink and green color scheme. They created beautiful over sized pink paper flowers which were incorporated with gorgeous pink peonies and a variety of greenery with some feather accents.

Very unique and very Stephanie. Oh those shoes! Stephanie hand glued gems on her stunning wedding shoes. The ceremony was very original and unlike any I have ever seen. Two Rings did a wonderful job capturing this perfect day. For more photos of Stephanie and Dave’s Wedding check out this blog post by Two Rings.

Dylan of Blazin’ Sounds Entertainment had everyone on the dance floor – doing some dances that like the bride and groom – we’re uniquely theirs.

They also enlisted the talented team of Magic Hour Creative to capture everything on video. Here’s a link to their wedding film.

Many thanks to all the vendors that helped make this wedding such a success!

Where do I begin…The theme was “All Things Grow with Love”.

When I first met with Katie she had a piece of paper (which I still have) that included all the elements she wanted to incorporate into her wedding. Trees, love, respect, fun, vintage, enchanted forest…We certainly accomplished that and more. Jimmy’s exact words were “We hit it out of the Ballpark” at the end of the night. Katie knew exactly what she wanted and we enlisted quite a team to execute her vision. Stacey at The Bloom Room created gorgeous and one of a kind arrangements that included lots of earthy elements, tree branches, lanterns, flowers, succulents and herbs. Katie wanted to create a vintage feel with a color palate of muted tones. We incorporated vignettes of vintage furniture for guests to sit back and enjoy the view as the sun set over the Biltmore House. There were so many personal touches such as family quilts used for decor, love birds, custom paper elements, the K + J logo and a cozy sweetheart table complete with a vintage love seat. Guests were treated to a variety of food stations and signature cocktails. Groovetown did a stellar job of getting everyone on the dance floor – until the fireworks stole the show over the Biltmore House. Keeping the tree theme going the guests were given a choice of herb pots or succulents as a keepsake of the day. They were asked to plant it in honor of Katie & Jimmy and encourage their love to continue to grow.

Many Thanks to Parker J. Photography for sharing these gorgeous photos.

We were lucky enough to have the entire day captured on video by Life Stage Films.       To view the wedding trailer click here.

Katie & Jimmy’s Smock Invitation was featured on their blog.

As always I would like to thank the incredibly talented team that we brought together for this wonderful day!

Jane and Phillip were married on a gorgeous August day in the Glen across from Homewood. There had been a threat of rain but it passed us by and the outcome was an idyllic outdoor ceremony & reception. Jane envisioned elegant garden decor with pinks, greens and lot of woodsy earthy elements. The head feasting table had an assortment of arrangements, lanterns, wooden boxes and custom table numbers. Jessica of Aria Floral did an unbelievable job bringing Jane’s vision to life.  The results were just stunning! Jane’s family owns an antique store and we were able to incorporate some really beautiful lounge areas with wicker chairs and couches. Jane had a lot of great DIY ideas and spent some time on Etsy. Our team had such fun time incorporating all the different elements. So many wonderful details! Jane and Phillip are such a special couple and I enjoyed every minute working with them and Gus, their golden. Amber and Kyle got married on a beautiful fall day at the stunning Boyd Chapel followed by an intimate reception at Biltmore’s Lioncrest.

From the beginning, Amber was full of decor ideas and had a beautiful vision.  One of my favorite elements that she chose was the magnificent feasting table for 60 guests in the Lioncrest Ballroom. Stacey from The Bloom Room did a fabulous job implementing Amber’s vision.

I am so happy that Amber and Kyle rode off into the sunset together after 13 years of dating! This was a great celebration of their love and a wonderful beginning to the rest of their life together! A very special thanks to our great vendors!

Stephanie envisioned a fairytale wedding complete with Castle (Stephanie loved to refer to the Biltmore house as “the Castle”), Horse & Carriage, Wedding Gown fit for a princess, Fireworks and lets not forget the gorgeous bride & groom.

The backdrop of Biltmore House and the mountains of Asheville were the setting for the intimate ceremony at Diana. Cocktails were served on the lawn overlooking the house as the sun set accompanied by a string trio. Drapes were pulled back after the cocktail hour to reveal the reception area with food stations, a lounge area and the amazing Atlanta Party Band. Guests danced the night away and were able to  enjoy some fabulous fireworks over the Biltmore house.

This wedding is definitely one for the magazines. Thank you Visio for sharing these beautiful photos.

The morning of the wedding I got a call from Kenzie. “It’s snowing!!!”…but by 3pm the snow has disappeared and the gorgeous fall colors became the backdrop for this glorious day.

Kenzie and Chris live in the UK, but they chose the mountains of North Carolina to celebrate their union since they met at Camp in Brevard. Friends and family came from all over to celebrate their wedding day.  It was truly a full day that included the ceremony, cocktails and games on the lawn, an hour of toasting (more like roasting) that had everyone in stitches and was followed by tons of dancing.

I loved every minute of working with this couple and their families. Kenzie envisioned a rustic chic wedding and wanted to include locally grown flowers. Stacey from the Bloom Room  created stunning arrangements that incorporated antiqued shades of fall colors mixed with whites and gray greens and a slight touch of purple.

The incredibly talented team of Woodward + Rick captured the day. For more photos of this beautiful wedding click on this link.
