Mary Flynn & Matt chose the rustic elegance of the Chattooga Club for their wedding reception. The dramatic view of the mountains provided the perfect backdrop for their destination wedding. Feasting Tables lined the gorgeous tent off the pavilion for the dinner. Parties to Die For did an amazing job decorating the tables with custom linens,  lanterns, elegant flowers in wood bases and individual menu/place card settings. There were so many well thought out details from this wedding it’s hard to know where to begin! One of my favorites was a “family tree” that Mary Flynn & Matt created that linked every single guest to each other. The San Francisco bridge cake that Classic Cheescakes create in honor of the couples time in the city was over the top. The simple elegance of the overall decor blended into the outdoor setting and was just stunning.  Everyone danced the night away to Rhythm Nation and feasted on incredible food and a custom ice cream bar…followed by late night sliders

I absolutely adored Kristen and Damian and loved helping them plan their fall wedding at Claxton Farm. Kristen’s wedding vision was very natural with accents of burlap, greenery and unexpected pops of color and the look turned out beautiful.  James and Jenny with Visio Photography did a great job capturing their day and I have so many photos to share with you that I’m going to create two posts!  Also, special thanks to Stacey at The Bloom Room – the flowers were stunning.  Check out this video from Magic Hour Creative.

Asheville Event Co. had the pleasure of planning and producing the 8th Annual Carolina Connect Conference with AdvantageWest and Mountain BizWorks at the Renaissance Asheville Hotel this past spring.  Carolina Connect is Western North Carolina’s signature event for entrepreneurs and investors, started by AdvantageWest in 2002 as part of its entrepreneurial development program. This event continues to be the hallmark networking event for connecting entrepreneurs with their peers and potential investors on trending topics relevant to today’s global economy.

Nearly 300 business owners from across the region attended Carolina Connect for the immense amount of networking and incredible speakers.  We were really impressed by the connectivity of the attendees and the true interest in each company represented – the energy was contagious! The speakers were incredible and ranged from Chris Yura, founder of environmentally conscious clothing company, SustainU to Windsor Hanger with Her Campus Media to our keynote speaker, Peter Shankman – an expert in all things social media.

As a business owner, the connections and seminars were invaluable to our business.  We are looking forward to next year’s Carolina Connect Conference!a

Bevin & Will were married on a gorgeous June day in Cashiers, North Carolina.

Their reception was held at the Chattooga Club which has an elegant, rustic pavilion for dancing and celebrating, mouthwatering food and dramatic views. Blossoms at Biltmore Park created the beautiful decor that brought Bevin’s vision to life.

I really enjoyed working with this couple on all of their details. The wedding weekend was so much fun and filled with friends and loved ones that obviously adore this couple as much as we do. Bevin loves squares which were incorporated into all the fabulous paper goods that Jill with Shindig Invites created as well as the tables, the decor and the delicious cake by Tiffany’s Baking Co.

Here are some of the incredible photos from 6 of Four Photography. We just love working with Chris and Katie. Click here for more photos from this beautiful day.

We had the distinct pleasure of working with Bombardier Recreational Products to plan and implement the Can-Am Spyder Homecoming Event in the beautiful mountains of Maggie Valley, NC. The views are just amazing and the motorcycle rides are even better.  We were really intrigued by the Spyder motorcycle – it’s one of the coolest vehicles we’ve ever seen!  Please enjoy this preview of the event, courtesy of the talented Cami Calnan Photography.  More photos to follow….
