Liza and Greg’s December 19th wedding at Homewood was accompanied by over a foot of snow! Lit only by candlelight and fire the ceremony and reception were incredibly romantic. The team at Blossom’s did an amazing job with the flowers.

It took 7 hours for our cake baker to dig out her car and get the cake to us but she did it! Kudos to Tiffany’s Baking Co. for saving the day with the wedding cake. The Red Velvet cake was delicious!!! Thanks to our fabulous DJ, Sound Extreme, we were able to light up the twinkle lights in the main hall.  Homewood was incredibly romantic and made for a beautiful backdrop on this wintery day. Many, many thanks to all of our incredible vendors that helped this wedding go on!!!

The staff at Homewood was wonderful and helped serve the food as well as light over a hundred candles! Mauricio at Artisan Catering was able to provide hot, delicious food for all the guests with a very limited staff. Jesse Kitt did an amazing job capturing the days events.

Thank you all for your hard work and help in making this wedding happen!

Jamie and Bryan were married on a beautiful summer weekend at Claxton Farm in Weaverville, NC.  This wedding is so special and full of lovely details that we are going to showcase the event in several blog posts! I’m so excited to share these gorgeous photos from Our Labor of Love that I just can’t wait.  More details from this stunning mountain wedding will be posted soon….

Asheville Event Co. was so honored to be a part of the planning process for the 6th Annual Doors of Asheville Fundraising Event presented by Hometrust Bank. The event was held November 19 at the Orange Peel with nearly 40 local artists donating their work for the auction to benefit Mountain Housing Opportunities.  The event raised over $30,000 to benefit Western North Carolina residents through the many programs at MHO.  We’d like to thank the awesome staff and board at Mountain Housing Opportunities, Laurey’s Catering for the fabulous food and Ol’ Hoopty for providing the entertainment! Special thanks to Rebecca D’Angelo for sharing these fabulous photographs!

Jonas Gerard was one of the featured artists! We had a great time!

With over a foot of snow in Western North Carolina, Liza & Greg’s December 19th wedding proceeded with caution!

With the power out at Homewood due to all the snow, we had a very romantic, candlelit ceremony by the fire. Many, many thanks go out to all the fantastic vendors and staff at Homewood that helped make this wedding happen. From the incredible food by Mauricio at Artisan Catering to the delicious and beautiful cake that made it through the snow from Tiffany’s Baking Co.. The crew from Blossom’s delivered on Friday night and set up Saturday morning…braving the snow and unplowed streets. Justin and Ben from Sound Extreme saved the day with a generator that gave us the ability to have music for the ceremony and reception, as well as some lights! Jesse Kitt Photography captured it all and here is a brief preview of the happy couple…

Asheville Event Co. was honored to plan and execute the 4th annual Mountin’ Hopes Asado at The Farm on October 4th. Many thanks go out to the incredible staff and volunteers at Mountin’ Hopes that keep the program going. The Asado would not be possible without the dedication and hard work of Eric Scheffer and his staff at Savoy. Thank you also to Laurie Lamb and Blake Terry and all of the fabulous artists that donated to the live and silent auctions. Bev and the Farm staff were wonderful to work with and The Farm was a beautiful venue to host this event. Many Thanks to Classic Event Rental for always working with us on this event. Olivier Le Pord did a fantastic job shooting this event. Thank you for the photos!

Entertainment was provided by Ahora Si, Center Stage Dance Studio and Liliana Castro
